This page explains how progFocus (the "Service") handles data that is specific to it. Cookies for analytics and how consent works, the operator, and the security measures we take are described in the Privacy Policy shared by takushio2525's services. Please read it as well.
When you use the Service without logging in, your project data and display settings are saved in your browser (LocalStorage) and are not stored on our servers. If you clear your browser data or switch to another browser or device, you will no longer be able to access that data. Back up important data with "File Save".
While you are logged in, a copy of the open project and your display settings are also saved in this browser. The copy of a cloud project is removed from this browser when you log out (the project saved in the cloud is not deleted).
You can log in with a Google or GitHub account. When you log in, we mainly receive the following information from that service and store it in Supabase (an authentication and database service).
We use this information to manage your account and to provide features such as cloud storage and link sharing. We never sell it.
We use the information received from Google and GitHub only for the purposes above. We do not use it for advertising or to train AI, and we do not provide it to third parties other than the providers that store and process it for us ("4. Where data is stored and processed"), except as required by law.
To keep you logged in, we use Supabase Auth session cookies. These cookies are only for logging in and are not used for analytics.
For how Google and GitHub handle your information, see their policies.
While you are logged in, you can save projects (their names and contents such as nodes and connections) to the cloud (Supabase's database). Saved projects are tied to your account, and database access control prevents other users' accounts from reading or writing them. The exceptions are "5. Link sharing" and "6. Connecting external apps".
When you log in, your information is stored and processed with the services of the following providers.
Both are US companies, and server-side processing on Vercel takes place in the United States. The US system for protecting personal information is summarized in the survey by Japan's Personal Information Protection Commission (United States). With this system and each provider's terms and published security information in mind, the Service encrypts communications and uses database access control (so that your data can be read and written only from your account).
When you create a share link, anyone who knows the link can view the project's name, contents, and creation/update times without logging in. Your email address and display name are not shown on the shared page.
You can set an expiration period for a share link (7 days, 30 days, or no expiration), and you can deactivate or delete a link at any time.
To prevent excessive access to shared pages, each view records a hash computed from the IP address and the access time. The record does not include the IP address itself.
On shared pages, we send analytics (Google Analytics) only a page address with the share-link part hidden (for example, /en/shared/[token]). The share link itself is not sent to Google.
You can connect external apps, such as AI assistants, to your progFocus account. A connection is made only when you choose "Allow" on the connection screen. An app you allow can then access the projects you saved in the cloud with your account. Check the app name and redirect host shown on the connection screen, and deny any connection you do not recognize.
When an app you allowed reads a project, its contents are sent to the servers of the company that provides the app (such as an AI service operator, often located outside Japan, for example in the United States), and are then handled under that company's terms and privacy policy. Whether they are used to train AI also depends on that company. Check their policy before connecting.
You can revoke a connection at any time from "Connected apps" in the account menu on the top page. Once revoked, the app can no longer read your projects through the endpoint for external apps (MCP); this can take up to about 30 seconds. However, an access token the app already received can still be used to access the database directly until it expires (up to 1 hour). Also remove the connection in your AI tool.
The Service uses Google Analytics for analytics. It shows no ads and does not load any ad-serving scripts. For the cookies Google Analytics uses and how consent works ("Cookie settings" in the footer), see the Privacy Policy.
We keep each kind of information for the following periods. We do not automatically delete accounts that have not been used for a long time.
Export: open a project and press "File Save" to save it as a Markdown file. Projects saved in the cloud can be saved the same way.
Account deletion: contact contact@takushio2525.com with the email address of the account you log in with. To confirm that you are the account holder, we will send a confirmation email to that address and delete the account after you reply. Deleting your account also deletes the projects saved in the cloud, share links, and connected external apps. Please clear data saved in your browser yourself.
We also accept requests to notify you of the purposes of use of retained personal data, to disclose, correct, add to or delete it, to stop using or erase it, to stop providing it to third parties, and to disclose records of provision to third parties, at the same contact. There is no fee. For the procedure, see the English summary of the shared Privacy Policy.
For questions or complaints about this page or how your information is handled, contact contact@takushio2525.com (the contact shared by takushio2525's services).
