This English version is a reference translation. If it differs from the Japanese version, the Japanese version prevails. The shared Terms of Service are written in Japanese, with a note in English at the end.
With the revision of September 30, 2026, the Terms of Service shared by takushio2525's services now also apply to the Service, and this page now contains only the terms specific to the Service. The revision applies from that day. The former provisions on this page stating that the operator bears no liability whatsoever and that the terms may be changed at any time without notice have been removed; the scope of liability and the procedure for changing the terms follow the shared Terms of Service.
1. About these terms
progFocus (the "Service") is provided under the Terms of Service shared by the services operated by takushio2525 (the "Shared Terms"). This page contains the service-specific terms referred to in Article 1 of the Shared Terms and sets out what applies only to the Service. Anything not covered here (prohibited conduct, rights to the data you create, the scope of liability, the procedure for changing the terms, governing law and jurisdiction, and so on) follows the Shared Terms. If this page conflicts with the Shared Terms, this page prevails for the Service. For how information is handled, see How progFocus handles your data.
2. What the Service is
The Service is a free tool that helps you plan and organize your thinking for programming and system development. You can use it without logging in. When you log in with a Google or GitHub account, you can use cloud storage, link sharing, and connections to external apps.
3. Storing and backing up data
- Projects you create without logging in are saved only in your browser. They are lost if you clear your browser data, and the operator cannot restore them.
- Projects you save while logged in are stored in the cloud. When you log out, the copy of a cloud project left in this browser is removed (the project saved in the cloud is not deleted).
- Also keep important projects on your own device with "File Save" (Article 4 of the Shared Terms).
4. Link sharing
- Anyone who knows a share link can view the project's name and contents without logging in. You decide and manage whom you share with and what you share.
- You can set an expiration period for a share link (7 days, 30 days, or no expiration), and you can deactivate or delete it at any time.
- If shared content falls under the prohibited conduct in Article 5 of the Shared Terms, or if there are reasonable grounds for a claim that it infringes someone's rights, the operator may deactivate the share link (Article 6 of the Shared Terms).
5. Connecting external apps
- When you allow an external app, such as an AI assistant, on the connection screen, the app can read, create, change, and delete your projects in the cloud (this version cannot narrow the permissions).
- Project contents passed to an app are handled under the terms and policies of the app's provider (Article 7 of the Shared Terms). The operator does not guarantee the accuracy or usefulness of what the app produces (such as AI output).
- You can revoke a connection at any time from "Connected apps" in the account menu on the top page.
6. Prohibited conduct
In addition to Article 5 of the Shared Terms, you must not do the following on the Service.
- Trying to find other people's share links by guessing or brute force
- Calling the Service's database or the endpoint for external apps in large volumes beyond the normal use of the screens or connected apps
7. Ending the Service
If we end the Service, we will, as a rule, announce it on this site at least 30 days in advance. During that period, you can export projects saved in the cloud with "File Save". After the Service ends, the data saved in the cloud will be deleted.
